Rich Hofbauer

Rich is a seasoned executive and company builder with over 25 years of experience leading ventures across digital health, biotechnology, infrastructure, and financial services. As CEO, Rich guides the company’s organizational and product development, with a focus on aligning teams, refining strategy, and accelerating execution.

 

As COO and CFO of Celmatix, he helped transform the company from a digital health platform into a therapeutics-focused biotech, advancing a pipeline of first-in-class women’s health therapies. A former Partner at Control Group and COO of Intersection (an Alphabet portfolio company), Rich has deep expertise in scaling teams, building platforms, and managing complex public-private initiatives. He brings a design-driven, execution-focused approach to leadership and is passionate about launching technologies that improve health outcomes and human well-being. Outside of work, enjoys trail running, cycling, and spending time in the mountains skiing and snowboarding.
